We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The downstairs space was fantastic. The twin bedroom was possibly a little small for two adults due to the sloping ceiling and lack of wardrobe space. The skylight window in the upstairs bathroom could do with a blind due to the proximity to the owners house. The kitchen equipment was great but a larger saucepan would have been useful when cooking for four. However these are just minor suggestions and did not affect our lovely holiday here. The cottage was spotless. We loved the patio and garden area. Our daughter loved the swings. Our dog loved the paddock and was made very welcome by the owners. The cream tea, the flowers and dog treats were a very special touch, on arrival. The location was superb, great for walking and sight seeing. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone

Fantastic location for a few days away from it all. Very very clean on arrival with a nice touch of scones jam and cream waiting for us. Would definately recommend to walkers and cyclists.

A lovely cottage set in a tranquil area of Dartmoor. The owners were very friendly and helpful with any queries answered. There were a few bangs to heads on the first day, getting used to the sloping ceilings but nothing we didn't get used to. Agnes the pot bellied pig was lovely and we enjoyed seeing her each day. If you wake up to poor weather then go west! To Cornwall.

Beautiful cottage, wonderful surrounding area, ticked all the boxes for daytime activities ie walking and was ideal for visiting other attractions because of its central location. Night time was fantastic, clear skies for both photography and astronomical observing. Cottage was well laid out and had everything that you could wish for to enhance your holiday, the welcome pack was a lovely touch and needless to say the scones were very tasty and didn't last very long at all.

Unfortunately for us we didn't realise the proximity of our cottage to the owners home. We were within 15ft of their front door, and never really felt detached. To be fair the owners were not intrusive, but we did feel very uncomfortable at times. Having two small children, I was always wary of them being too close to the owners home in the shared garden. The property itself was comfy, but upstairs the sloping roof was sometimes to get used to. My husband could not stand up to use the toilet! The utensils needed looking at, as there wasn't some of the key items you would need and wouldn't really expect you would have to bring. Like a working can opener, or baking tray. We enjoyed our week away exploring Devon however, and seeing beautiful sunsets from Brentor Church. (A must!)

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The owner was always there to help and very understanding. The only thing they could improve on is to provide a designated bin for dog waste.

A beautiful cottage set on the edge of Dartmoor, don't expect to use all your devices as mobile reception and internet are almost non existent, but it all added to a very peaceful break. Owners very friendly as is Agnes the pig, highly recommended and will be back again when hopefully the weather will be somewhat better and Katie doesn't come back to haunt us.

Crafters barn is clean comfortable and warm. Watch out for the sloping ceilings upstairs especially if you are tall. The pack of cream tea, milk and flowers was very welcoming. The only downside is the information pack could be a bit more explicit (as we took our small dog, there was no information as to where we put doggy waste). Also the TV signal is very hit and miss (no BBC channels all week).
