The cottage on arrival was more spacious than imagined. It was clean and presentable and had a good selection of utensils in the kitchen which enabled us to do a bit of home cooking,as was really expected knowing that it being rather off the beaten track for get ting meals out easily. the view from the lounge window especially was stunning and unforgettable,so peaceful and tranquil. The walk along the shoreline just outside the cottage was easy going on tarmac surface for those not fit enough for walking on rough ground. The beds were very comfortable and the shower room was adequate [although we had to do some repairs to the shower head as it kept falling off] The cottage was ALWAYS nice and warm .Parking was adequate for 2 cars and the outside area had table and chairs to enjoy the views to the full. The highlight of the holiday for us [4 people] was seeing - a PINE MARTEN right up close from our bedroom window. It was amazing to see. That was due to a comment made by a previous guest in the visitors book which sadly we only noticed on the evening before we left. Their useful tip of leaving out hens eggs[raw in the shell] worked a treat as did jam n bread/peanut butter.Naturally,we will return.

Lovely cottage. Very warm and comfortable and extremely clean. People have noted the kitchen is dated- however we found it very well equipped with all the mod cons and lacking nothing. Wonderfully situated in a quiet spot but still very accessible with a beautiful view. The best cottage we have stayed in with this company: we plan to return.

The sofa and the double bed could be more comfortable, and the shower is a bit dodgy, but the cottage is clean and the location is unbeatable. The ever changing view of the mountains across the loch is captivating and the tranquility is a balm for the soul.
