Lovely cottage ideally situated a few hundred yards from the centre of Aberfoyle and central for the whole Trossachs region. Well equipped, very quiet and cosy with great views over fields from the large front window. Controls to the central heating are inaccessible but there is a wood-effect electric fire in the lounge. We would certainly stay here again if visiting this lovely area.

this cottage lacked the equipment one would expect to find in a holiday let:- no frying pan no steamer no slotted spoon to enable one to remove poached eggs from the small pan (larger pan would have been nice so that 4 eggs can be done at the same time) uncomfortable beds no hooks or rail in the bathroom to hang wet towels or dressing gown also general things like cling film, foil, non stick tins for cooking would be nice cooking a meal took great planning because of the lack of pans and tins the weather wasnt kind to us and some of the days and evenings were very cold - it took us 4 days to work out how to switch the electric fire on as the central heating was locked away and we couldnt adjust it. on the info we had it said to contact the owners in an emergency which we felt none of the above were so we just made do.
