Lovely place had a fabulous weekend you need a car but so many places to visit. Owners were accessible but in no way intrusive kids and dogs loved it!!

Superb accommodation, superb views, in a lovely location ...ideal for a chill out few days......loved the garden, the hot tub, the Farmhouse was spacious and provided everyone with enough space to enjoy the whole 5 days. Would definitely go back......managed to see two calves being born on the nearby farm.........slight problem with the hot tub due to the heat...but soon sorted. Recommend it for a weekend stay or a midwwek stay.

Lovely location , hot tub brilliant, be aware that 2 of the bedrooms are over the garage and accessed by separate staircase and not near a toilet.

Upper floor bedroom had a lot of dead flies on the floor. Insufficient curtains, and thin blinds. Light switch lodged into the wall, making it far too dangerous to use. No egg cups for the children to put their boiled eggs in. Beautiful location, would go back to for a holiday, but definitely would not go back to Craigllwelyn farmhouse.

The farmhouse is great. In a wonderful location with great views. All the rooms are really big too. The owners were generous with the heating and the firewood and had even built us a fire ready for when we arrived. A lovely touch. There were more than enough pots and pans to cater for 11 of us and it's generally well equipt. There are a few thing to watch out for. If I went again I'd take my own towels, they do provided them but they are on the small side and depending which room your in it might be a long way to the bathroom. The hot tub needed the temp turning up when we arrived. So I'd do that sooner next time so we could get in on the first night. The annex is very basic (it got nicknamed the servants quarters) there is no bathroom. A single shower room downstairs. but its a long way to go for a nightime wee. The Windows have office type blinds and no blind on the veleux the kids were up with the sun so might be worth taking black out blinds. There is a massive difference between the rooms so maybe draw it out of a hat. All that said we would go back. It is in a lovely location and we had a great stay. P.s the pub that is a mile away is a very long country mile but the taxis are friendly.

Really lovely large cottage, stunning views. Large rooms. Hot tub was used extensively. Close to Oswestry which is a lovely town, lots to do and see nearby. Games room is great- though not insulated (it's a double garage) which made it cold (as you'd expect in February) but it was still used a lot. And doubled as a cold store as there is only one worktop height fridge. Also, in the wing above the garage (sleeps 5) there is not a toilet, which was not an issue in the day, but at night, with 3 children sleeping up there is became a little annoying. However, overall the cottage is wonderful. I would definitely return.
