In superb locations and beautiful settings. Cottages4you gives you a fantastic range of hand-picked properties with quality you can rely on.

Mountain climbers will find this a perfect base, with Ben Lomond, Ben Venue and Ben Ledi close by.

This delightful, first and second floor holiday apartment is situated in the pretty town of Callander, the gateway to the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park. This bustling Highland town, set amongst hills and lochs, is a wonderful base from which to discover the surrounding area of this beautiful part of central Scotland. There are endless miles of forest roads and trails to explore, both for walking and cycling. The Sustrans National Cycle Route runs through the town itself on the disused Callander to Oban railway line. The Trossachs have spectacular mountains to climb, such as Ben Lomond, Ben A’an, Ben Venue and Ben Ledi. There is an abundance of wildlife to spot, including ospreys, red squirrels and pine martens to name but a few. There are numerous activities for every age and interest; from horse riding to watersports. From your front door, you can walk to a variety of shops, tea rooms and bars. Within easy driving distance are Loch Lomond, Gleneagles, 30 minutes, Stirling, 20 minutes and Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth, 1 hour. Ideal for fishing and golf, with the nearest course within walking distance of the property. Shop, pub and restaurant 30 yards.

A very comfortable and well equipped apartment with some thoughtful added touches. Centrally located, only two minutes from a Coop supermarket. Although situated on the main road, we weren't troubled by noise.

Had a great week at this location. The apartment was excellent and the area had everything. We really needed more than one week to see everything. Would definitely recommend both the area and the apartment.

The accommodation was well laid out and comfortable. It was in a good location to explore the local area and not far by car or train to get to Edinburgh or Glasgow. The small touches were nice e.g arriving and having tea, coffee, and milk there. Friendly and pleasant stay alround.

Everything was perfect. Very well equipped and clean. A very small negative is if you're not used to passing traffic it can be quite noisy with passing lorries etc. However it is right in the centre of a lovely town that is very Dog friendly and has absolutely everything you need. A great surrounding area with lots of places to visit within a fairly short drive. Will definitely recommend Crags View to friends.

Great place to stay, bang in centre of Callander. The cottage was spotless with everything you would need. Comfortable and warm, only slight issue with the hot water for a bath, only sufficient in the boiler for one bath and only not even half full, but the shower was piping hot.Personal choice really but we are bath people. That did not detract from a really nice warm and pleasant property

Thought it was a cottage ended up a flag I booked for 4 pRopley and a dog but the landlord didn't like that fact we had a dog in the flat and turned up at the flat complaing

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We hope you all enjoyed your weekend in beautiful Callander and as advertised it is an apartment and not a cottage. We both love dogs and prepare the apartment accordingly when we know they are coming to visit which unfortunately in this instance we did not as our confirmation from cottages.com indicated no pet. Hopefully you will visit us again sometime.

Lovely warm house in beautiful Callander. I know it really shouldn't be important but the internet connection was outstanding! Pub across the road, Italian restaurant almost next door and a Coop store just up from that. Only used the double room and bed was a comfortable as they come.

I probably did not read the the description of the property properly so it was probably my own fault that we were expecting a cottage rather than an apartment. Having said that the property was well apppointed and spotlessly clean. The landlady was very pleasant too. We had looked forward to some good meals in the local restaurants but with the exception of 'Ciros' a couple of doors away we were disappointed. It was 'off season' and it showed by the use of frozen veg etc almost every where we tried.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; It was lovely to meet you both. I’m pleased you enjoyed your stay at Crags View. We do take pride in what we do and yes as advertised it is an apartment. After your kind remarks about our property, I was surprised you only awarded an overall score of 5. On the market, Crags View is very competitively priced. Callander itself has a variety of eating places catering for all tastes and budgets....I can’t imagine you were able to sample them all. Perhaps we will see you once again in the future.
