Welcome Cottages

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

A quirky holiday home with a mix of traditional features and contemporary furnishings. The harbour with its pubs, shops and restaurants is just a stone’s throw away.

Set in quaint fishing village

Mevagissey is a traditional Cornish fishing village where cottages cluster tightly in narrow streets that surround and lead to a busy working harbour. Craftsmen Cottage nestles just seconds away from the quayside with its restaurants, shops, cafés and traditional village pubs. The quirkiness of the irregular shaped rooms and old beams only add to the charm of this quaint holiday cottage. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, a beautifully restored garden is just minutes from the village and provides an excellent opportunity to stroll around a fully restored garden complete with hidden ’jungle’. Beaches, walks, horse riding, sailing, kayaking and surfing are all available locally. Shops 20 yards, pub 100 yards, restaurant 10 yards.

Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. First floor: Second living room. Shower room with toilet. Second floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite toilet, 1 twin.

NSH and electricity included (£15per week October-March). Bed linen and towels included. DVD. CD. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Freezer. Parking permit for 1 car included, parking available in public carpark, 150 yards away. No smoking. No children under 16 years.

We found it to bea really good holiday cottage, with a very friendly and helpful owner. Facilities and cleanliness were excellent. The only slight criticisms would be that the sofas could be more comfortable, and the lack of WiFi is disappointing these days.
