Our break was in November and the welcome could not have been nicer, walking in to a log fire that had been lit before our arrival and a complimentary bottle of wine. We immediately explored the cottage and could not have been more pleased; it has a real old world charm and is very comfortably fitted out. The kitchen has everything you could need and we soon felt quite at home. It was lovely to open the curtains in the morning and find a field of sheep next door. This is a very quiet and peaceful area and you do need a car if you want/need to head to the shops but that is the very essence of a "get away" weekend. There are lots of interesting places around and some really lovely walks.

We were absolutely delighted with this cottage, it is a quaint and very well appointed place to stay. We were greeted by a the hosts on arrival who very welcoming and had left a bottle of wine, chocolate biscuits and roaring fire which allowed us to quickly ease into our holiday after the 11 hour journey. The information warned that the property was overlooked but in a distant corner of a very large garden and screened by a high yew hedge we felt secluded and private. The cottage was warm and comfortable, located at the end of a series of very quiet lanes ensuring we could get out and about on our bikes exploring the beautiful local countryside without being harassed by traffic. We could not recommend the property enough.

Lovely cottage in a lovely area. Excellent for walks directly from the cottage. Small towns like Much Wenlock and Ludlow are nearby. The cottage is well kept by the friendly owners.

Lovely old cottage with lots of olde worlde features. The main issue would be the stairs which although quaint, may be very difficult for the elderly or less able. The cottage is in a lovely rural location and is convenient for visiting the many attractions of Shropshire including the Ironbridge Gorge and the Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth.

Lovely cottage in very peaceful surroundings . Hosts very helpful and friendly. Perhaps it is worth mentioning that there is no mobile phone signal and no internet connection just in case someone needs to keep in contact with family for any reason.

Lovely cottage, warm and cozy. Owners also! Fire was lit on arrival and bottle of wine on table (thank you!). Only thing I could say is that until I'd booked and paid I didn't know it was in the garden of the owners- so not as secluded as I was looking for originally. However at no point did this spoil our weekend but it would have put me off initially booking it. Also would have loved to have a more flexible leaving time the Sunday. To clean & tidy the cottage, pack our stuff away and vacate by 10 am meant an early wake up. Although if I'd asked Dee she may well have agreed to us staying until 11- I didn't like to ask.

Lovely, clean little cottage. Wood burning fire alight on arrival. Interesting walks. Advise having car and map of local area.
