Lovely cottage, perfect for a family holiday visiting the many attractions around the Forest of Dean. Good central location means you’re never more than 10 mins drive from any attractions. The owners were very warm and welcoming and offered plenty of local advice. The cottage is a good size with modern facilities and everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in the perfect location for exploring the area with nothing more than 20 minutes away. The cottage was very clean and tidy with everything you need although the toaster was a bit small! Really enjoyed our stay an would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic long weekend at the Granary with friends and our dogs. Lots of living space downstairs and a picnic bench to enjoy the sunshine in the courtyard which was enclosed and safe for the dogs - The dog food shop next door was handy too! The hot tub was a brilliant luxury to have! A couple of local shops along with a good chinese and chip shop all within walking distance. The owners are more than happy to offer recommendations too. All of the main things to do and see are within a 10-20 minute drive so everything is still accessible without paying double the price of staying somewhere right in the Forest of Dean. Only cons were that the listing does say there is a bbq but there isn't, there is just space to use a disposable one, which worked fine. The pots & pans could do with replacing too but otherwise couldn't fault it and we look forward to staying again!

Beautiful cottage, spacious and well presented. Close to many attractions. Pleasant rural location, short walk to a local shop and about a 5 minutes drive to lydney. Plenty of off road parking and an enclosed area front and back for children and pets. The owners were friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this cottage again, a perfect location to base yourself in for exploring the forest of Dean and wye valley.

Enjoyed the accommodation and the location near to the Forrest of Dean. Single beds are huge, but no storage in double room for clothes.
