My only gripe is the lack of efficient wi-fi. BT-FON is soooo slow and we couldn't pick up 4g in the cottage either. As I run my own business, I had to go out to check my emails etc. Having said that the cottage itself is wonderful in a fab location central to everything. I will definitely stay again.

Me and my daughter stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of November. The weather was very cold but Cosy Cottage was nice and cosy! Parking could have been a problem in high season, but from 1st Nov parking was free all day and night on West Cliff and from 6.00pm to 9.00am on the pay and display park behind Pound Land - about 25 yards from the cottage door. My teenage daughter bagged the double bed but complained the mattress was hard. However, this did not stop her from lying in it until 11 each day. Of the singles, one had a very good mattress - the other not so... I suggest this should be looked into for next season. Bedding, curtains etc were of good quality. Literally 5 minutes walk to the harbour but without the crowds passing by the windows all day - excellent! Yes, we enjoyed our stay at Cosy Cottage and would stay there again.

Nice cottage but sadly not that cosy. Beds very uncomfortable as we're sofa and armchairs. Good location for exploring whitby. No WiFi and phone connection poor.

Cosy cottage was perfect for me and my sister. Location is excellent especially for trains and buses which we used frequently. Very well equipped. Beds were a little hard but comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Right in the centre down a cute little street. Very quiet considering it's proximity to the harbour. The cottage had everything we needed for a family of 2 adults and 2 children exploring Whitby and the surrounding area. Parking was via a scratchcard and not available in the direct vicinity of the cottage; and was tricky to find a space within a 10 minute walk due to high crowds over the Easter weekend, but we were on a walking holiday so not a problem for us. The only down fall was that the sofa was very uncomfortable after a day on the moors and the double bed could do with a new mattress. However I would recommend Cosy Cottage.
