Nearby is a health suite and just outside the town you may enjoy the Michelin starred Stagg Inn, for fine food. Take in a round of golf at the highest golf course in England or visit the famous Hergest Croft Gardens. Kington is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Welsh Marches, where the landscape of lush pastures, orchards and chocolate box villages of Herefordshire abruptly meets the rugged Welsh border hills. Great days of walking will be found along Offa’s Dyke and the Mortimer Trail, and is also a fabulous cycling area. Further afield Hay-on-Wye and the Brecon Beacons National Park are about 15 miles by road, the magnificent scenery of the Elan Valley and the Cambrian Mountains will be found about 25 miles away, and Ludlow also within 25 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
