Great location with lots of walking and cycling tracks near by. Cottage was warm and comfortable but if you had 6 people staying it would be quite cosy!

Excellent time and greatly enjoyed the farm animals - thought the peacock was fantastic.

Really please with the cottage, 5 adults and a dog were comfortably accommodated. I would return as cottage is lovely and in a fantastic location with easy access to Brecons (walks straight from the front door so no need to drive) and local amenities (including a couple of dog friendly pubs, local shop and fresh produce available from the farm itself). Lovely views from all windows. Resident dogs (2 Newfoundlands and a x breed) were all very sweet and approachable even with our dog, and even accompanied us on walks around the area! The farm includes roaming livestock including peacocks, which was lovely. A noticeable absence of noise of road traffic which was a pleasure and true dark skies with great views of the starts (when not raining! :-)). No critiscisms of cottage at all, but would make a point of saying that the third bedoroom in the attic space is particulalrly low ceiling'd so may cause difficulties if all of the party are over 6 foot, but me (5 foot 5) and partner (5 foot 10) coped fine. Great room for kids to stay in I would imagine.

The location of the cottage was beautiful, with spectacular views to the distance. The cottage itself was fine, especially when we had a toddler and 2 dogs. The owner was unwell, so we did not meet her, so the stay felt a bit impersonal. The top room had not heating and was very cold overnight. Maybe have some hot water bottles? The courtyard outside the cottage was frequented by peacocks, a goose and 4 dogs, all of whom were lovely but left their calling cards. we could not sit out there with our dogs or child because of this. As we had paid £20 each for our dogs, maybe some dog bowls/doggie welcome pack? Everything just felt a bit neglected. Maybe things will improve as the season progresses and the owner recovers.
