House is beautiful, gorgeous big rooms and the comfiest beds we've ever had at a holiday cottage. Lovely big country kitchen with aga and big table. The grounds are lovely and the outside eating area gets the sun pretty much all day and enjoys fabulous views. The kitchen wasn't as well equipped as we would have liked (in terms of eating, drinking and cooking utensils) and other aspects of the house could do with a bit of investment (e.g. the washing machine, main bathroom shower) but overall a very comfortable luxurious house. On the one hand the house is in a lovely location for exploring the hills and forest behind the house, but it is just outside the village itself and involves walking along a very busy road. The swimming pool/leisure facilities are on the house-side of the village so just over 5 mins walk, but the rest of the village is further. Overall we have had a fantastic time. Betws-y-coed is a busy location but once you get away from the main road and along the river it is lovely - and of course excellent access to everything else Snowdonia has to offer.

Amazing house cold when we arrived but the heating soon kicked in and warmed up.
