Description

After a busy day spent exploring the Pembrokshire coast, curl up in front of the woodburner with a glass of wine or relax in the hot tub.

These beautifully renovated detached Welsh barns, Ty Llo (ref W43266) and Coal House (ref W43267), stand a few yards apart, and a small terraced row of three (300 yards from the barns), comprising Wyth-y-Nant (ref W42214) and Hawton (ref W41830), both end terraced properties, and Coeden Afal (ref W41764), the mid terraced property, are all situated on Carmarthen Bay in the coastal setting between Ferryside and Kidwelly. Tastefully decorated throughout, each bursts with character including original stone walls and beams. Close to the historic castle at Kidwelly and just a short drive to Carmarthen. Beaches at Ferryside, Pembrey and Llanstephan are all within easy driving distance. Enjoy a day at Fos Las racecourse, only a 15-minute drive. The holiday cottages provide an ideal location from which to enjoy the sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire and the Gower, the latter renowned for being Britain’s first AONB. Spend your days exploring the historic town of Laugharne, famously known for the iconic boathouse of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and visit the castle and traditional Welsh pubs where fresh fish is always on the menu. Don’t miss a visit to the National Botanical Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens. Golf, riding, fishing and water sports nearby. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 0.75 miles.

I was totally charmed by this cottage, we usually book a detached property but the walls are so thick we didn't really hear the neighbours, I loved the window seats and the cosy living room. The hot tub was the reason we booked the cottage and was definitely a bonus at the end of long days out walking.

Very clean, spacious, well decorated cottage. Very comfy beds. The hot tub was great, but the water was overdue a change. The roads to the cottage are single track with passing places, lots of close shaves with wing mirrors. The short walk to the beach was flooded, so it was a 15 minute walk or a drive. Great secure gardens front and rear for the dogs.
