The cottage is set within the Northumberland national park. Perfect place to get away and relax. Well equipped kitchen very spacious cosy lounge and large bed - comfortable for two. Plenty of places to visit including Alnwick Castle / Banburgh Castle / Cragside / Amber Harbour to name a few that we were able to visit with interesting history set in wonderful scenery. Driving time approximately 30 mins for Cragside / 50 mins for Alnwick. Local one stop shop in Otterburn for the odd grocery & newspaper. High street stores and supermarkets can be found in Morpeth along with fuel stations. Rothbury high street offers a Co op / family award winning butchers / bakers / pub & lovely gift shop. We hope to return and explore more of the beautiful Northumberland countryside.
