What a wonderful warm welcome we rev over on a cold blustery day. We arrived and were so pleased to find a warm lit cottage, we felt at home immediately. The cottage was very well equipped and beds really comfortable. The dogs enjoyed it too!

The cottage was lovely, owners were friendly and welcoming, almost everything was thought of. The one very minor downside was the lack of any wifi/internet signal, and for the most part not even a tv signal. Not a major issue like i say, especially if you're going away to get away from all that, but i had a 6 year old who sometimes still wanted the use of modern technology. Apart from that tiny thing, it was amazing to stay there, the location is stunning, and i would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a short break.

The only reason for marking the cottage down on equipment is because the shower needs updating it is broken and water leaks from the tray under the doors all the time.

The cottage was warm, cosy and in a beautiful, peaceful location. It was close to Edinburgh, but far enough away to avoid all the hustle and bustle of a city teeming with tourists.
