Ideally situated with uninterrupted sea views. It took a while for us and the cleaner to understand storage heaters. Access a problem due to heavy rain as no hard surface and we had to access and leave the property by the adjoining cottage's driveway. One morning skidded out rather than drove! Owners were informed.

Fantastic small cottage. Great for Plymouth, Looe and Helligan. Would recommend for a quiet base in Cornwall.

The overwhelmingly positive thing going for this property is the situation. To be able to sit in the living room and watch the sea is the best. The local pub and restaurant are an easy walk through the memorial garden and the pub has stunning views too. The cottage could do with a deep clean in some areas. The bathroom is a bit tired and the lamp fittings grubby and mouldy, as was the wooden frame of the mirror. The shower though was like a tropical rainforest and very good with adequate hot water. It would have been nice to open the kitchen window to hear the waves while eating but if there was a key we did not find it. The toaster body is rusted and unpleasant and the slots too small for a decent bit of toast. A reasonable request to clean the hob of the cooker could only be carried out because we had brought our own hob scraper ( wherever we go there is no scraper) . This ought to have been provided. The radio in the kitchen could not be used as the aerial had broken off. A few proper blankets would have been welcomed as it was cold in bed and only thin woolly knitted throws were available. These are minor grumbles and we had a great time. The visiting cat was a joy and happily came in daily to curl up and snooze!
