Everything was lovely. Beautiful house and view. My family live in Ireland and England and we met in the middle. The accommodation was perfect and clean and modern and high spec kitchen and the bathroom was fab. Everything looked welcoming. My granddaughter had lots of space to run around and the outside area was safe and secure. We all had a lovely relaxing break. I'd definitely go again. Id highly recommend the coal house. One small gripe was I think I was too old for the single beds as I found the mattress very soft and didn't support me , had a few aches in the morning 😊. I'll get dibs on the double bed next time.

The Coal House was stunning. One of the most relaxing holidays we've had. Beautifully designed & furnished, and the views are gorgeous too. Even our dog loved it, especially the underfloor heating! Beach is 10 minute walk away, but there are lots of beaches and places of interest to visit that are a short drive away. The owners of the coal house have thought of everything, even down to their very own booklet of places to visit and the list of dog friendly places...just outstanding! We'll definitely be booking again. Thank you. 23/10/15 to 30/10/15

Beautifully equipped cottage; lovely location being within walking distance of beach. Excellent to have a paddock to exercise the dog in. Good view of estuary from French window. Helpful owners.

Lovely property, well equipped and lovely and warm. the dogs adored the under floor heating. Single track road to property could be a challenge at times but good location.

Great accommodation. Couple of issues when we arrived, but owners extremely helpful and accommodating. Road into property, single track, with some passing places, proved tricky when trying to pass a lorry and a car towing a caravan!

We loved our stay at the Coal House. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was really well decorated and and very luxurious. Great location easy access to all the beaches and places to visit. Had great wifi for the kids to use their tablets. Would highly recommend staying there.

Excellent property. No negatives except no teapot! Access road plaqued by cows which caused delays leaving and returning to the property.

A fabulous cottage in a quiet location. It was very dog friendly, and having the use of the paddock for exercising the dogs in the morning and evening is very useful. The garden is small, but adequate. Nice comfortable patio furniture completes the package. The under floor heating is very nice. I am sure the dogs enjoyed it too. The only thing that would possibly prevent us from returning is local councils proposal to ban dogs from all beaches in the near future. This would be a pity, since the beach dedicated to dogs at Pembrey is mainly deserted except for dog walkers and the occasional fisherman, and dogs are not allowed on the main (tidy) beach during the tourist season. I can only hope the council see sense.
