We had a great relaxing holiday. The cottage is cosy, well appointed with character and a modern twist, and tended with care. Close to Settle, and lots of nice walks and good pubs.

This is one of the best cottages we've ever stayed in. It's set in a beautiful location and everything you could possibly need has been provided at Coachman's cottage. The owners have created a wonderful base for exploring the Dales and the Lakes. It really was a great place to come back to at the end of a busy day's sightseeing.

Coachman's cottage is a lovely quaint little holiday cottage hidden away in the owners grounds in Wigglesworth. The cottage is nicely laid out with the bedroom neatly partitioned off from the lounge area. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything there that you would need for your stay. Our only 'minor' disappointment was the cottage garden which we found to be quite overgrown in places and some of the shrubs / plants could do with cutting back so that guests could sit and enjoy the beautiful views across the Yorkshire Dales. Less than 200 metres from the cottage is The Plough Pub which we dined at twice during our stay. If, like us, you are thinking of dining there yourselves, phone in advance as the pub is only open at certain times during the week, but it is well worth a visit. The staff are very friendly and the food is very tasty. We would certainly recommend Coachman's Cottage if you are looking to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the picturesque villages and towns

Lovely cottage, well decorated and plenty of supplies. As being a 4 star would have benefited from Wi-Fi. Garden wonderful but now a bit overgrown so the view shown is no longer available.

Spent a fortnight here, a perfect retreat ,very clean and all amenities you could want in the cottage, and a lovely garden. Liz & Rod make you feel very welcome & nothing is too much trouble. An ideal location for the Dales .Also places like York,Blackpool,Morecambe & Lake District can be easily reached in about an hour. Local amenities were only marked 9 because The Plough (Next door) did not open on some nights when it was advertised to(Liz says this has happened before).Good food at the Boars Head,Long Preston(2Miles) & The Plough (if it opens!). We intend to return and do more walking when we get fitter!

Absolutely loved it for our long weekend. Cottages well catered for, larger than I had anticipated. Kitchen fully equipped. Location great for walks and access to countryside. We climbed Pen-y-Ghent which is easily accessible along with other great walks. Decent Pub 100yards away and served nice food. Will stay again. 10/10
