we all really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was excellent. the only thing that i would recommend is another proper double bed, other than that everything was fantastic.

Lovely house with a friendly host. House is a good size with large rooms, all clean and recently modernised. Beautiful location and views which seemed to constantly change. There are a couple of pebbly beaches you can use at the property. Owner's house is 200 yards further down the hill but it is all very private. It is a drive to other attractions etc but with a view like that why would you go anywhere? That said, the local pub is walkable in about 30 mins and does great food. We went in February but I imagine it is paradise in the beer garden on a midge-free evening. Thoughtful inclusion of things like washing up liquid and toilet rolls made using the property easier.

Brilliant rental property, stunning location and well equipped. Owner was friendly and considerate and even checked whether we needed a Christmas tree - nice touch. We have already recommended this property to friends.

Cnoc Dubh met and surpassed our expectations for a wonderful New Year break. It is a lovely, comfy, cosy house, perfect for a large party, offering a very high standard of amenities. The location is simply breathtaking and the stunning views can be enjoyed from magnificent windows along the front of the house and the spacious verandah. The owner was warm and welcoming and eager to ensure all our needs were met for a happy and comfortable stay. We fell in love with this place, will certainly go back and highly recommend it to any party looking for a peaceful stay in this beautiful and wild part of Scotland.
