Great location, Beadnell is lovely and ideally located for all of the other places to visit. Beach 5 or so minutes walk. Dog friendly and a lovely beach walk to Seahouses. The accommodation really needs to have a shower installed and a mop and bucket. The only downside was the floor. Needed a good clean. Other than that really great and would go back.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback and your comment about the shower is something that we will consider again in the future. We have ensured that a mop and bucket is in the cottage as well and we hope to see you again.

A perfect little rental cottage which is clearly not managed by the owner as it felt a little unloved and lacked charm. It was in a superb location and had everything you could wish for (other than a shower and towels) but we did feel that there was no excise fo it to be dirty upon arrival. There was a lot of dust about, cobwebs and sand on the coffee table. Clearly the maid must have been in a hurry. One radiator in the twin room was in need of bleeding so no heat there all week. We left a message for the caretaker as there was no radiator key for us to do it. A real shame. We did enjoy the colony of bats who have taken up residency in the boiler room for the cottage. They came out in their droves every evening at dark. It might frighten some however and the boiler room was consequently filthy with droppings etc.
