Stayed at Cliff Top Villa during the recent cold weather. Found it warm, comfortable, well equipped and spacious for our party of 8. The views are stunning and the local amenities were easy to get to. Would recommend it to anyone.

Clifftop Villa was a very comfortable, clean place to stay with lovely sea views. The only down side was that we could not get the shower to work in the en-suite bathroom. this meant there was only one shower between seven of us. This did not deter us from having a lovely stay.

Lovely location with wonderful views overlooking the channel. Well appointed property with ample parking but could benefit from bigger fridge to cater for property size? Twin bedded room would have been better with bunk beds & trundle for children.

This is a lovely spacious house and spotlessly clean. It was chilly when we arrived, but warmed up really quickly once we turned the heating on. We were a group of 6 ladies and it was perfect for us - really quiet, sea view from all the rooms at the front, and very sociable with the open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The 2nd fridge in the utility room proved useful for the wine! Washing up liquid and cloths were provided, along with only a little toilet paper in each loo. Visitors need to provide dishwasher tablets, loo paper, hand soap etc. If the house was full (9 people) there might be a queue for showers as one of them is ensuite, and there would be a bit of a squash round the dining table. Otherwise, we would certainly recommend it.

AVOID....AVOID.... The house is extremely in poor condition. Acoustic issues due to the construction material used. Leak from the ceiling, very small house with extremely small rooms. Suit room has a bathroom pod which the door was broken so we ended up not using the pod. The bed was broken and we were charged for this at the end. Toilet and bathroom with no ventilation !!!! Toilet and shower waste water works with a pump and every time you use toilet the pump goes on, even in mid night and it is so noisy. Fridge frizer was full of out of date stuff and was not clean and we were charged for the cleaning of the fridge at the end. We will never use this place or website again.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; These guests left the property in an unacceptable condition which required extra cleaning, and furniture was moved about and not returned to its original position. These guests also over occupied the property, which is a breach of the Booking Terms and Conditions. The property was completely refurbished at the beginning of last year and obviously complied with all regulations in respect of insulation etc. I have not had any complaints in this regard previously. I agree the bedrooms are not particularly large but this is a holiday home and guests usually stay for no longer than 7 days and there is certainly adequate storage in each bedroom for that length of time. There is adequate ventilation on both the family room and the en-suite, it may well be that the switches were not turned on by the guests. There is a macerator in the en-suite bathroom which kicks in when either the toilet is flushed or the shower is running. It does make a noise but I have not had any complaints in the past and there is not a lot that can be done about this. There were several items left in the freezer which in previous reviews the guests have been grateful for the use of, together with other food items and sauces etc. in the kitchen cupboards. In the past there has been a leak from the family bathroom which has stained the kitchen ceiling slightly and which was re-painted, but these guests may have allowed the bath or shower in the family room to overflow causing further staining. It is not a health risk as suggested.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation and convenient for going out and about in the Folkestone area. We stayed with 2 young children and they were able to play outside in the safe and enclosed garden. We also enjoyed an icecream sitting out on the balcony and taking in the gorgeous sea views. Lovely home for the week and had everything we needed.
