This was our second time staying at the cottage. It was as good as the previous time. I would thoroughly recommend this for a quiet getaway. Go watch the sunrise and sunset is a must. I read the leaflet about Monks lane proposals and can only hope it is approved. Needless (no pun intended) to say we will be back again.

This was a lovely place to stay. Everything you needed for a peaceful holiday. Only negative was the very bumpy dirt track you had to drive up to get there, but the views were worth it.

I chose Cliff Top Cottage based on the excellent reviews. I understood the access road was a bit uneven but I was not prepared for 0.6 miles of uneven, gravelly, bumpy road with potholes and a few speed bumps. The road was also mostly single lane which made it that bit more precarious. The bungalow was well equipped by a thoughtful owner. Little touches like hand wash, washing up liquid, cling film etc were very welcome, as was the bread, milk, butter, orange juice, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine. Whilst the bedding felt fresh and of good quality, after day three there was a definite musty smell in the main bedroom. As time went on I realised it was not just musty but damp smelling too. Quite unpleasant. I think maybe a new mattress is needed. The bungalow is one of eighty so not quite the peaceful retreat I was hoping for. No ball games are allowed at the front of the bungalows but unfortunately not everyone followed the rules. The views from the bungalow are purely countryside or the bungalows opposite. You need to leave your bungalow to get sea views. The nearest beach is a short drive away. I booked this bungalow with really high hopes but sadly it did not deliver.

Lovely and comfortable cosy cottage. Well equipped. Beautiful views of the sea. Wonderful coastal walks. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return. Just a shame about the access road which is in dire need of repair/ resurfacing.

A lovely place to stay, very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved it as did the wife. Highly recommended. We will definitely go back there again.

Very comfortable, home from home. Amazing views. Our young daughter found friends to play with from the holiday park which added to our (and her) enjoyment!
