Arrived following excellent communication and directions from owner and were wowed when we arrived. The view was amazing and being surrounded by lambs a bonus for the kids! Cottage was great, spacious, welcoming, clean and great facilities. More than enough of everything for 10 people. It is in the middle of nowhere with nothing around which was what we wanted as the kids could roam free outside with no concerns. Many of the attractions/ seaside towns were no more than an hours drive away. The only small criticism we had was that noise really travels! Once one family was up, the rest of the house had no choice as the floors/ stairs are very creaky! Can't be helped though and didn't ruin our weekend 😊

We had a wonderful weekend at Cleiriach, Kate was so welcoming and helpful and the cottage had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfy, all the facilities were brilliant. The views are stunning, it was a lovely place to be for a few days. We were 6 adults and 2 teenagers, and 3 dogs - there was plenty of space and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the pool table! We also had a lot of fun with the roulette wheel - what a brilliant idea! We will definitely return, it could not have been more perfect.

Cleirach sits in a beautiful farm setting, away from all the hustle and bustle. The scenery is magnificent, deeply harmonious for the soul. The house is spacious and provides all that is needed. The owner proved to be warm, helpful, but not invasive. The showers proved to be rather dis-appointing. The downstairs one is in need of an update and the upstairs one would benefit a glass screen as opposed to shower curtains. Apart from this issue, considering how many occupants Cleirach can house, the house is well stocked with all items and needed and provided an excellent base to view the surrounding area.

This farm house is in a wonderful , off the beaten track location, amazing views and very peaceful. Although we pretty much decided to stay put; there were beaches and other tourist spots within a short drive if we had wanted. I would recommend making sure you had all you need as it wouldn't be a quick nip out to the shop. It perfectly accommodated the whole family leading to an epic game of hide and seek! The two kitchens meant we could prepare food for all and the massive table meant we could all sit together. (Way more fun than having two sittings) Dog friendly although extra care had to be taken cause of the pups keen interest to meet the lambs. However we got to meet and feed the lambs which made it worth it. Would definitely stay again. The hostess made sure we were settled and comfortable, she was available but not intrusive and was very welcoming.
