Welcome Cottages

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Set in a rural location, yet only 6 miles from the nearest beach, this is the perfect getaway spot for a relaxing holiday.

With garden and far reaching rural views from every room, this detached holiday cottage lies in a peaceful setting just a 10-minute drive from the bustling harbour town of Dungarvan. All on the ground floor, it boasts spacious accommodation for 5 guests, a large enclosed garden and private parking. The property also has a natural water supply from a well - but not to worry, it does come through the taps!
The town has a beautiful sandy bay, further enhanced by the majestic Comeragh Mountains as its backdrop. The magical Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) region of Waterford has a hideaway of cliff-top trails, unspoilt beaches, inland drumlins and leafy glens. Within a 30-minute drive is the heritage town of Lismore with its magnificent castle, weekly farmers’ markets and superb Millennium Park, the ’Vee Drive’, reputedly one of the most picturesque routes in Ireland, the 46km Greenway cycle route and the stunning sandy beaches of Clonea, Ardmore and Ballquin. There is so much to do and see in the area, including many festivals such as the West Waterford Festival of Food, Spraoi and the Comeragh Challenge and, for golf enthusiasts, the Dungarvan Golf Triangle. Beach 6 miles. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

It was a lovely cottage to stay in. Extremely clean and very comfortable. The area itself was quite bleak so we found it hard to work out the weather. One morning it was foggy and raining at the cottage and in dungarvan the sun was shining.

We enjoyed our stay at Clash-Brack cottage very much, Seamus the owner, met us on arrival and showed us around. We found the cottage to be just perfect, spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Free internet was available and worked well. The location and setting is stunning and utterly peaceful and ideal for touring the Copper coast and many other attractions around the area. Good walks from the cottage and a nice bar with music less than five minutes drive away. We will definately be back.
