Osborne House and Gardens (Queen Victoria’s holiday residence), Carisbrooke Castle and the sailing town of Yarmouth are worthy of a visit. Sandown is a nice place to stay however room 4 was very small walking into the side of the bed and how to put chairs away before being able to go to the small kitchen no cooker only microwave kettle and a toaster with no where to use it there was a cooker to share in another room

We felt t.v. could have been bigger! Also the shelf would have been better over the toilet and not the basin! We kept banging our heads on the shelf. Suggest a corner basin would have been bigger and took up less space! Otherwise very comfortable!

Despite a mix up where I was quoted details of the room like a 2 ring stove and a toaster, which was actually the details of suite 5 not suite 4 which I had asked for details of on the phone, also despite having the room occupied by somebody else the night before our 1 week stay, I would consider staying there again because it was quiet, clean and the staff were very helpful. I was also told I could get an electric scooter for my disabled partner into the room, again the owner quoting suite 5, not suite 4, it would have been impossible to drive the scooter into suite 4 as stated on numerous occasions.

Not what we would call a suite it was a small room with small kitchen and shower and toilet which was a disappointment to us as the shower was quite cheap

VERY SMALL. NOT SUITABLE FOR DISABLED OR CHILDREN. NO REAL KITCHEN MORE OF A KITCHENETTE , MICROWAVE , SINK AND FRIDGE, WITH NO OTHER COOKING FACILITIES. HAVING SAID THAT IT WAS CLEAN AND THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. LOCATION WAS VERY NEAR THE TOWN AND FRONT, AND AS LONG AS YOU DIDN'T WANT TO COOK IT WOULD BE IDEAL FOR A YOUNG COUPLE OR SINGLE PERSON.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I thank you for taking the time to provide your review of Suite 4 Claremont House. I would confirm that Suite 4 is my smallest and least expensive suite. The Agency describes the suite as cosy and of course the photographs show what is available. The suite has been occupied by both disabled people and a parent and child. Accordingly I would not describe the suite as not suitable for disabled or children. The kitchen is as shown on the photographs and provides a combi oven/microwave, a two ringed hob, toaster and kettle, fridge and sink. There are other cooking facilities within the premises that are available in the main kitchen. I am pleased that you found the premises clean and that we were friendly and helpful and we hope that you visit us again.
