We had a lovely time here. I marked location down as there’s nothing really close by but that’s what we wanted, an escape. The cottage is clearly done up for love and not just to make a profit. It is beautiful and extremely clean. The fire gives so much heat and we loved that whilst cooking together. Bed is super comfy. The hosts were fab too leaving us wine. We also asked to check out at 12:00 instead of 10:00 and they said yes and in fact let us stay however Ling we wanted as they had no one coming in that night and that was awesome as we could have lunch then before leaving. Thank you so much.

Enjoyed the cottage, but felt that some aspects could do with improvement, such as the yard in which it is situated - although it is a working farm, we felt that the area around the cottage would be improved by tidying up, and the road down to the cottage would be improved if it was cut back a bit. Inside, we felt that the twin bedroom needs a mirror of some sort, as the only other one was in the double bedroom. The outside seating area was a bit sparse - not that we sat out there. Apart from these remarks the cottage was warm and comfortable, and a welcome pack of a bottle of wine and some milk was good.

No mobile phone signal . The beds were not great. Much to do in this area so we did have a good time.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at Cider Cottage. It's a beautifully converted barn and is well placed for exploring sights of Sussex and Kent. We were there in spring so the kids seeing lambs up close was a real bonus and we did a lovely bluebell walk just a short distance from the cottage. There isn't much of a garden for anyone thinking they might spend time relaxing outside, and with the kids that's the one thing that we missed slightly but we were out exploring every day so it didn't make much of a difference. We'd stay again if we were to return to the area.
