A beautiful cottage, in a good location, we only had a couple of days and the weather was not so good, but there was lots of lovely walks and plenty to do, I would definitely like to return in the summer and take advantage of this great part of the country. The cottage covered every need and was very comfortable. We would not hesitate in recommending to friends.

Fabulous cottage, in wonderful condition, helpful owner, lovely area. The only downside for us was the lack of phone reception.

The cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable. The owners were courteous and helpful, also generous with milk, biscuits and wine for us on arrival and plenty of logs for the excellent wood burning stove. The bed was very comfortable and the shower/wet room was very good. Our only criticism would be the television was a bit small and we weren't able to operate the DVD player.

Beautiful setting although a little tricky to find, especially in the dark. Cider cottage has everything you need in peace and tranquility.

We were too overlooked by neighbours and they were quite noisy at times. There was no welcome from the owners, in fact we never met them. We struggled to find things to do in the surrounding area. We would not return or recommend to others

A very comfortable, well presented cottage. The rooms were spacious, light and warm (we stayed in autumn). The twin room was slightly smaller, but we were staying with an elderly parent who had sole use of the room. We were particularly impressed with the underfloor heating which maintained comfortable temperatures in each room. The property was particularly suitable for a holiday with an older person, and met all our requirements. We enjoyed visiting several NT properties nearby and some walks in the immediate vicinity . We had no mobile phone reception at the cottage, which was not a problem for us, but might be difficult for some.

Our stay at Cider Cottage was fabulous. The property was very clean and well equipped. We thought the property was ideal as it was warm, quiet and felt like a home from home. We felt welcomed from the outset and enjoyed a very relaxing holiday.
