    Very cosy ground-floor apartment in a charming village location. Only reasons for giving it less than a 'perfect ten' rating are - limited outside space (but this is specified in description) and some occasional noise from shared lobby due to limited thickness of front door. However, these were very minor inconveniences and we would strongly recommend a visit.

    We had a wonderful holiday in a spectacular flat with everything we needed including an extremely comfortable bed. We were very fortunate weather wise, but this would be a superb and characterful place to be whatever the conditions outside. Our one regret was that the weather was too warm for us to try an open fire - maybe next time !

    Very nice cottage in good location very central to village. Good choice of local dining places. Special mention for Cavendish Arms whose food was excellent.

    My wife and I had a really pleasant week the flat was well equipped and comfortable. I would recommend it to any of our friends who wished for a self catering holiday in the lakes.

    This is our third visit to Cartmel and to the this lovely cosy property. We spent our honeymoon here 5 years ago and will, no doubt, be back again in the future.

    We had a nice comfortable stay in beautiful Cartmel. Churchtown House was great value for money, the location is perfect and our hosts were fantastic. For us, a few upgrades would take the House from really good to top notch.
