The property was excellent. If you want peace and quiet and a lot of space then this is the holiday for you. The location is isolated leading to the peace and quiet but means driving along narrow single lanes to get there. The nearest shops are 10 miles away but thet have an excellent range of goods. The beauties of Exmoor are right on your doorstep. For beaches expect a one hour drive. The children (7,3,1) didn't want to leave and the adults want to book again next year. For small children the enclosed garden was a real plus. Overall a wonderful holiday on a working farm.

How it was advertised was not how it was when we arrived. It does stat on a working farm but not in the actual farm yard. Did not expect the dogs from the farm to be round us all the time. The location was not suitable for a family as had to travel to far for amenities and days out for the kids. I would not go again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I was going to come home as soon as we got there but kids wanted to stay.we did come home a day early after spending all day in the car trying to find a beach.

Brilliant reception from owners always around but never felt they were in the way. Cottage well equipped a couple of items in the kitchen needed replacing (tongs) as they had started to go rusty It is a working farm which you must remember but great for walking dogs first thing in the morning as you have use of most of the fields surrounding cottage. The only down side was there was no door direct into the garden which meant you had to walk up the drive and around the corner which on some days wasn't good as the owners dogs used it to do their poos.

Felt very welcome when we arrived and the hosts were more than helpful. Cottage was really nice and plenty of room for everyone. The large bedroom on the ground floor was very useful for our grandparents. Ideal family holiday consisting of member of the family covering three generations.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Internet very infrequent and phone signal non existent but who cares when surrounded by beautiful countryside and tranquility.

Cottage was a little more remote than we thought but had lovely surrounding areas and great beaches about half hour away. Cottage was well equipped and clean although we did have a few problems with the hot water while we were there but owners were sorting out and apologised. Owners were very helpful and friendly. The mobile telephone signal and wifi was a bit hit and miss but that's what you get being in middle of nowhere! Beautiful scenery. We have a dog and plenty of places for great walks.
