Kendal has a vast array of attractions for the first time or returning visitor including Kendal Castle, the former home of Katherine Parr and a delightful shopping area, pedestrianised to create a traffic free shopping experience, boasting cobbled streets lined with an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and cafes. Only 10 minutes from the M6, Kendal, known as ’gateway’ to the Lakes, is ideally situated for exploring Southern Lakeland and the Yorkshire Dales. This quintessential character property offers delightful accommodation for the smaller party with original features of flagged floors and feature fireplaces combined with modern day kitchen and bathroom. The seating area to the front is perfect for enjoying meals al fresco when our weather will allow whilst listening to the Ring O Bells (also the name of the nearby pub) just along the way.
