Good job neither of us were scared of spiders as there were some large 8 legged monsters in the room, that needed removing on our arrival. Such a shame the beds couldn't be made in to a double from being twin beds, as all other doubles in the area were booked up.

We had a wonderful time at church view, the owner Graham was a fantastic host nothing was to much for him. The cottage had everything that we needed loved the view from amazing window & garden.Had great walks around the farm & fields with our three dogs. Lovely touches around the cottage & farm with all the flowers/herb garden. Local pub very welcoming & dog friendly. Most friendliest place we've stayed at. Would love to go back again. John & Gail.

Our only slight concern was that the garden was not well fenced. Our dog could easily have gone under the fence.

Well designed cottage. Good equipment. Wifi and dishwasher particularly useful. Would benefit from a bit more kitchen equipment especially more crockery/glasses, a better frying pan and a cafetiere. The underfloor heating was excellent once we'd reset the timer / temperature. Location was really good. The local pub, the Thomas Lord, a 10 to 15 minute walk away, was outstanding - dog friendly in the bar, with excellent food. Lots of walks from the door and within a short drive. Good shops in the attractive village. Easy access to Winchester. Graham couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. If we're holidaying in the same area again Church View would definitely be an option.

Would have loved to give this 10 but needs to make sure cottage information pack and local tourist leaflets are up to date. Could also do with a few more cooking pots. The wine was a very welcome surprise and the view from the huge windows was great.
