We really enjoyed the welcome at Church View. It was cosy, warm, clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. On arrival we were given a sponge cake, eggs and cut flowers. A thoroughly successful holiday.

Our sixth year at Church View, which speaks for itself. The welcome, the property, the weather and the restorative powers of the break speak for themselves. We have never stayed anywhere where the peace and calm work their magic so quickly. For families there is much within an hour to suit all tastes, from the coast to the forest, fens and wildlife to busy modern city centres. Special thanks must go to the owners for their constant attention to detail and the genuine care they show towards the guests. Thank you both for another fabulous break. Andy & Jo, Ripon

We had a warm welcome from the owners and they had made us a lovely cake and given us some fresh eggs. The cottage had everything we could need and was immaculate. However, our two TOP priorities were and enclosed garden and wi fi. Neither of these were satisfactory, the garden included gates to the road and people were coming and going frequently (postman, cleaner, dog carer, owners) this made it hard to relax and have the doors open in case our dog got run over. The wi fi signal was really weak as the cottage has no router it just makes use of the wi fi in the owners house. We needed it for urgent communication while we were away which is why wi fi was so important to us. I am now concerned that our next cottage we have booked with you will be the same. I will ring before we pay the full amount.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owners; We are pleased that you found the cottage immaculate with everything that you could need. We do try to cover for every eventuality and need in our provision! We are sorry that you found the WiFi situation unsatisfactory. The WiFi situation is rather out of our control. It is dependent upon the strength of the network signal, not the positioning of a single router. My husband often works form his office in the building and has never experienced difficulties other than the vagaries of the network signal strength in rural Norfolk! The property/garden is set within a secure high stone wall with a gate opening on to a quiet village foot path and road. The visitors you mention are all very aware of dogs on the premises and do take care on entering. The guests in the previous review found our current set up most satisfactory.

We have stayed in many holiday cottages, but this was one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in. Wonderful welcome by Gill without being intrusive, she couldn't have been more helpful. Cottage was in a wonderful garden ideal for people with children or dogs as it was completely escape proof, as was proved by our dog. Good central location, we went to this area for the walks and birdwatching and my husband was thrilled when he managed to tick off all the birds on his list that he wanted to see. Coast not far away with lovely beaches. Village pub only five minutes walk away. Would definitely book this cottage again.

The cottage was lovley well equipped the garden wasn't totally enclosed and was to the front of the property meaning we couldn't let the dog out without being on a lead
