We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It was spotlesslessly clean and very well stocked from the kitchen utensils to children's books in the bedroom. It is absolutely perfect for a family getaway and we hope to return soon.

Our third visit to Chorlton Moss Cottage and another fantastic time had by us all. Certainly won't be our last visit. A great cottage in a great location handy for exploring a beautiful part of the country.

My family and I stayed there for three nights in August 2016, Friday - Sunday, its a beautiful and warm welcoming cottage in a great location to explore Newcastle under Lyme and the National Park, Peak District. The cottage was beautifully clean and was fantastic for us and we had the best time. Paula the owner of the cottage was really nice, helpful and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The Cottage was more than we expected. The animals in the nearby fields were a nice bonus. It is situated in a very quiet area and made us all feel very relaxed. The kids loved all the toys. I always am a little bit concerned about how clean cottages (beds and sofa's) are but in this Cottage I had no doubt at all. You see the owners really put their heart and soul in keeping everything clean and comfortable. I suggest you take the extra internet when you book the house if you want to make sure you can surf or check e-mails etc as we didn't and we almost did not got any signal using our mobile data. The only little thing that would have improved our experience is providing a bin to put recycling materials in.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your lovely comments, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately the recycling refuse collection do not collect from the area, it is specified in the welcome book that you could recycle at the local village hall.

The cottage is delightful, tucked away from roads and traffic with sheep in the adjoining field, and a little stream running around the garden. Perfect for a quiet get-away.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The owner was super helpful and the cottage was immaculately presented. There were even toys and books for our children, perfect! The garden and views were lovely and we had lambs in the field out the front. So there's a proper country feel, yet it's only 10 mins walk to the village shop (or pub). We were there for a wedding at Keele Hall, an easy 15 mins drive. Booking with Tesco clubcard vouchers made it good value too.

Stayed here to be close to Yarnfield conference centre. Perfect location; handy to Yarnfield and a beautiful backdrop. Paula was an excellent host. She met us on the first day and was always contactable. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
