The cottage is delightful, tucked away from roads and traffic with sheep in the adjoining field, and a little stream running around the garden. Perfect for a quiet get-away.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The owner was super helpful and the cottage was immaculately presented. There were even toys and books for our children, perfect! The garden and views were lovely and we had lambs in the field out the front. So there's a proper country feel, yet it's only 10 mins walk to the village shop (or pub). We were there for a wedding at Keele Hall, an easy 15 mins drive. Booking with Tesco clubcard vouchers made it good value too.

Stayed here to be close to Yarnfield conference centre. Perfect location; handy to Yarnfield and a beautiful backdrop. Paula was an excellent host. She met us on the first day and was always contactable. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic little cottage with everything we needed , toys games dvds and wii for the kids .immaculately clean with an amazing garden . Lovely area with lots to do . Paula met us on arrival and couldn't do enough to help !! One thing I forgot to mention was no locks on the upstairs windows - in the first double for sure - not sure about the rest . Not a huge deal though !!

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Chorlton Moss Cottage. Just a quick note about the windows; all of the windows have locks and the keys are situated next to the windows so they can be locked / unlocked as and when needed. Thank you again for your comments and we hope to see you again soon!

We were looking for somewhere close to Keele University but not being in the middle of an urban environment. Ten minutes drive away and with ready access to the M6 and a host of other potential activitiesl, Chorlton Moss Cottage worked very nicely. We stayed for a week during which I went on a 3 day course at the university and my wife negotiated Stoke and the surrounding area to entertain our toddler. Chester Zoo was a highlight of our stay and, at the right time of year, Alton Towers is not far away either...
