A lovely flat with an amazing view! We loved it. The living room was light flooded in the morning. The beds were very comfortable and the flat was very quiet. Parking was right in front of the house (in October). We spend a lot of time at the beach, which was fantastic. What could be improved: - more bowls in the kitchen and the large plates don't fit into the dishwasher - the kitchen could have been cleaner - more table and floor lamps in the living room We would highly recommend Chine Bluff.

location perfect and lovely views from the lounge and front bedroom. Also lounge and front bedroom are very spacious and light. The number of stairs were an issue though . The lounge window requires blinds or curtains especially each side of the bay window. A brighter light is certainly required in the twin-bedded back bedroom as it is a very dark room. Newspapers and beakers left on the patio outside the kitchen door and generally this area needed a good clean-up.

We absolutely loved staying at Chine Bluff. It is such an ideal location. By 5pm you practically have the beach to yourself and at low tide can walk for miles. The one and only downfall was parking. There is no onsite parking or allocated parking spot on the esplanade we had to pay for parking for the whole week which was over £50 and if you go out and come back there is NO parking during the day. The people living next door on both sides are really friendly and make you feel like a local. Overall it was a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful holiday accommodation in a fantastic location so close to the sea. Would like to see proper curtains in the bedrooms instead of the cotton panels that allow light to stream in and wake everyone in the early hours. Also, the bathroom grouting needs a very good clean. With these issues sorted we would give 10/10.

Fantastic views from lounge & main bedroom. Great location for eating out in old Shanklin. Balcony nice to sit out on. Internally, very "tired" - needs refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Second bedroom very small & dark. Outside "garden" is a joke & the notice explaining why it is so untidy is a cop out - it could be much better with a little effort. TV did not work & no-one came to do the minor repair after we reported it on the Saturday. No radio reception due to cliff at back. Internet behaved well. UPVC windows & doors are old & minimally need some maintenance although they really should be replaced. We enjoyed the good bits & did not allow the not so good bits to spoil our holiday.

Lovely location shame about the flat. We arrived to a dirty flat which had clearly not been vacuumed. As we have a 4 month old baby I tried to use the vacuum cleaner but this was broken. On reporting this it was cleaned the next day, but I spent 24 hours picking other people's hair off my baby, yuck! We found the blind in the bedroom was also broken (no curtains in any rooms). This was eventually repaired on the 6th day, meaning 5 nights of disturbed sleep when the sun came up. Generally this flat is in need of some TLC and maintenance. I also agree with a previous review that the down stairs flat noise travels up. Totally disappointing for our first family holiday.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are very disappointed that you did not have a good stay at Chine Bluff, please accept our sincere apologies. We have had some problems with our managing agent recently that have now been resolved, in addition the vacuum cleaner has been replaced and the blinds replaced with curtains. We apologise that this happened during your stay. We hope though that you enjoyed the lovely view and beach. We hope that you will give Chine Bluff another chance.

Let down by not one hundred percent clean. No information on wi fi coding Told to leave key in lock for emergency use but this locks out the lower apartment resident should have been advised of this. Small point but lack of vegetable preparation knife Niggly items but would have helped to have these things at the commencement of holiday.
