Lovely cottage with excellent facilities and outstanding views of Tamar Valley and Dartmoor. Local amenities 1mile or more away but only few miles from Gunnislake and 5 from Tavistock which is a delightful little town.

We found the cottage to have that all important 'home from home' feel. It was very well equipped with beautiful views over the valley. It is located in a lovely village with a pub within walking distance. Coastal towns such as Portsmouth, Looe and Polperro are all within easy reach.

Fantastic place, can't wait to go back. Quiet, peaceful and with an incredible view, it is an ideal base to explore both Dartmoor and Cornwall.

Super cottage with amazing views and plenty of outdoor safe space for little ones to play. Good location for day trips to Looe, Plymouth and Wembury.

We had a fantastic holiday here. The photos don't do the cottage justice - everything is new and clean, the rooms are all big and comfortable and the view is fantastic. We spent every morning lying in bed with a coffee, with the double doors open, just taking in the view and the fresh air. My daughter spent every morning feeding the birds on the patio and hoping the deer would come. The owners are lovely - nothing is too much trouble, but if you want to be left t do your own thing they are very discrete. Area is lovely too, a great base to explore. This rates as one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.

Loved this quirky 'upside-down' cottage. Clean comfy & well equiped. Views to die for from (upstairs) lounge juliette balcony. Also from bedroom & patio. Didn't realise quite how small Chilsworthy village was. Good base to explore area from.
