Colombe, next to the owners’ house in their attractive garden, it is very compact and has a west-facing balcony to benefit from afternoon/evening sun, and an east-facing sitting-out area. The scenery is dominated by ’La Dent de Cons’ (2064m) with good walks to it from just behind the house. There is an 18 and a 9-hole golf course at Giez (5km), set amidst wonderful mountain scenery. Nearby, Lake Annecy has several lakeside beaches with pedalo hire and boat trips around the beautiful lake. An ideal holiday base.

Shower room (no WC). Separate WC. Mezzanine (access via steep, open-tread stairs) with a double and single mattress on floor (extremely low headroom)
Location: 3km E of Faverges (most facilities, restaurants, supermarket), 5km E of Giez (18-hole golf), 10km W of Ugine (all facilities), 10km SE of Lake Annecy (all watersports), 27km S of Annecy (all facilities).
