A really lovely quaint cosy cottage. Lots of character and very homely. Well equipped. There is a small area to sit and eat outside- it catches the sun nicely. There is a short steep stair case so your mobility needs to be good for saftey and i would not like to take a toddler. We would like to visit again in the winter as we think it would be lovely in the snow and cuddle up in the cosy lounge with the log fire on. The owners were really lovely, kind, helpful as required and respected our privacy at all times. They provided a nice selection of essential provisions on arrival. We shall remain friends. The village square is lovely and is a 10 min walk away. The local pubs are friendly, take card payment and serve food. The local shop is well stocked and also takes card payment. The cafe on the river is cash only. There is lots to do in the local area and we needed more than a week really. The roads nearby are good making New Ross, Waterford, kilkenny and Dublin easy visited for a day trip.

Had a great stay at this cottage! Pat and Theresa were the perfect hosts who were there to help with anything. We were welcomed with a homemade pie and the hospitality never faulted from then on. It was clean, cosy and in a beautiful location.
