The property was a lot smaller than expected. It had a nice garden and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. It was very clean and well looked after. The twin room was awkward to use as could not open wardrobe door or use bedside light. The kitchen equipment was very basic. It would be be very difficult to cater for four people in this property as there was no preparation space and very little seating space to eat without pulling out the space saver table and chairs. Only one towel was provided, no hand towel and there was nowhere to hang them after use. The sound proofing between the properties was poor and the plumbing was noisy. This property is ideal for two people who want separate bedrooms.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We apologise that South Lodge didn’t meet your requirements. We have been open for 3 seasons and have never received such negative remarks. The photos of the property give an excellent representation of its size and the kitchen equipment supplied is adequate. The space saving table has not caused a problem for any of our guests and the wardrobe in the twin bedroom is tight but accessible. We believe our pricing structure suits the accommodation very well.

Very pleasant setting, accommodation was immaculately clean and the owner could not have been more helpful but also did not bother you.
