We had a very good family weekend. Our ages ranged from 1 to 72 and we were all very satisified! The weather was not very good but there was plenty to occupy us in the house. The aga made everything very cosy. The games room was a particular success but the opportunities for hide and seek were plentiful too. We enjoyed using the tennis court and the calves next door were a great distraction. The walking in the immediate was a bit soggy because of the weather and, being townies, we were a bit intimidated by the cows. We would certainly go back. The closeness to the M6 made it very convenient but at the same time it was in the heart of the countryside and extremely quiet.

We had a lovely week at this cottage, its in a lovely location, and beautiful countryside. The lake and tennis court were a great added extra which we all enjoyed very much. The house is lovely, a great size for a family gathering, with a the games room which we all enjoyed and the garden is lovely. The only downsides were the house could have a spring clean, the fridge needed cleaning and there were cobwebs everywhere. And there is a smell of damp in the games room and the room above this, apart from these, we would definitely stay again.

The owners were very friendly and helpful making sure we knew we could ask for anything we needed. The children were fascinated to see the cows and calves so close to the house and the games room was enjoyed by all. Our group of 10, youngest 2years the oldest 64years, had a lovely holiday together and would happily stay at Chatcull Old Hall again. There was plenty of room for everyone.

We had a great stay at Chatcull Old Hall. The owners were very friendly and live close by in case of any issues or questions. The house itself is beautiful (if not a little dated, but this actually added to the enjoyment). The games room is superb, not to mention the amazing gardens and local scenery. Wouldn't hesitate to go back! Thank you.

Fabulous cottage with plenty of space. Great for our family 'get away from it all break'. The games room was used by the whole family(some of the equipment needs replacing) but we still enjoyed playing table tennis and pool. The location was fine for us and the things we wanted to do. The scenery is beautiful in this area. Lots of places to visit in Staffordshire especially if a National Trust member.

Chatcull Old Hall was a great place for an extended family holiday. Something for everyone and enough room to spread out. Having the games room and access to the tennis court was fantastic and meant daily tournaments for old and young. Loved having the dairy farm next door and the calves in the field across the road. Would happily return for another holiday.
