Our stay at Wheal Charlotte was great. The location of the cottage was excellent as it was quite central to all that Cornwall has to offer. Local beaches are very nice and not too overly busy. The cottage is very well stocked with its equipment and would only benefit further if a tumble dryer was available (that said, there was washing line but it really depends how kind the British weather is for getting the washing dried!). The inside of the cottage was spotless and very well laid out. The outside shower that is there is an excellent utility to have and for showering down wet suits at the end of the day is perfect. The owner was always on hand if we need anything, and scones, cream and jam on our arrival was a nice touch to start the holiday. St. Agnes is a short drive away where there is a SPAR shop and places to eat. Would we stay at Wheal Charlotte again? Well we have already booked our holiday at Wheal Charlotte for 2 weeks next year, so I guess that answers that question!

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful part of the UK. A couple of niggles, a light bulb not working and the front door lock failed near the end of our stay but nothing major to concern us. We would be happy to stay there again.

The accommodation was excellent. It was extremely clean, well equipped, modern and set in beautiful surroundings We have holidayed in cornwall for several years and this was by far the best place we have stayed at. We couldn't of asked for more. Our hosts were fantastic. They made us feel very welcome , and nothing was too much trouble. Will definately be returning again .

The place was gorgeous, the countryside idyllic but best of all the people were so welcoming and friendly, the children loved the grounds. It was a very positive experience.
