This luxurious detached farmhouse has been renovated to the highest standard, and is situated in an elevated position boasting stunning views over Luce Bay to the Mull of Galloway and the Isle of Man. This unspoilt area of south west Scotland offers magnificent scenery and some of the finest sandy beaches and rocky coves to explore. Minke whales, turtles, sea birds, porpoise, seals and dolphins have all been seen in the bay.
Explore the beautiful Galloway Hills and the Solway coastline, or visit the distillery at Bladnoch and Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town, a book lovers haven with over a quarter of a million books to choose from, both old and new. There are many traditional fishing villages and harbour ports worth visiting, as well as Kirkcudbright, the artists’ town, which has art galleries, antique shops, museums and shops. Castle Douglas, Scotland’s food town, is a traditional market town with many local foods available and is within easy reach. Cycling, horse riding, golf, sailing and diving are available in the area. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

    Fabulous stay - we usually leave a cottage and say ‘it was great but....’. No buts about Changue. More expensive than we would normally choose but we had a wonderful time and couldn’t improve the accommodation or welcoming touches so I would say it was worth it.

    Our group had a wonderful new year in Changue Farmhouse. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the remoteness but would hope for a better WiFi signal to contact friends and family. We would absolutely return to the property and plan to in the future. Kindest Regards, Lauren
