A superb location, indoor pool, inglenook fireplace, large gardens and spacious rooms - guests here simply won’t want to leave!
Standing gracefully within its own enclosed gardens with indoor heated swimming pool, this superb family detached house is located less than 300 yards from the beach. It combines modern comforts with plentiful character; there is a huge main living room with vast inglenook and open fire, wood panelling, Tudor style coving and ceiling finishes. The dining room also continues the Tudor theme with the furniture style, and also has a large inglenook with open fire. In addition there is a light and spacious conservatory overlooking the large lawned garden, and a separate TV room. Dining can also be enjoyed in the large well equipped kitchen/breakfast room or al-fresco in the garden during warmer months. The sweeping solid wood staircase with stained glass window leads up to the well laid out first floor including a bedroom with a four-poster bed. Ideal for families, the indoor heated swimming pool is open all year, and the popular unspoilt beach is less than 300 yards away. It lies close to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoying scenic walks, birdwatching, crabbing, fishing and swimming. Seaside resorts close by with plenty of seaside family entertaiment include Littlehampton, Worthing and Bognor Regis, or West Wittering is about half an hour’s drive. Chichester is also within easy reach, with its beautiful ornate cathedral and abundance of pedestrianised cobbled lanes with various shops, pubs, restaurants and popular Festival Theatre and famous Goodwood Races or Fontwell Racecourse. Other places of interest include The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, historic Arundel with castle, cathedral and various shops, and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, ideal for bird-watchers. Brighton is perfect for a family day out, boasting the decadent Royal Pavilion, art galleries, theatres and Sea Life Museum, plus seaside entertainment.
