There is a lawned garden area to the rear, bordered by a stream, with dining furniture, sun loungers and barbecue. Ideally located for exploring surrounding mountains with the small mountain railway across the road to take you up and around the valley. From the centre of Chamonix the Montenvers Rack and Pinion train goes up to the Mer de Glace, France’s largest glacier. Hiking, biking, golf and climbing locally. There is a separate one-bedroom apartment beneath the property but adjacent to the garage, let separately.
