If you like peace and quiet and glorious views this cottage is fab. Situated towards the top of the hill it has great views of Snowdonia, with a very nice walk, at the top of which u need wellies, but the view is worth it! The cottage is cozy and welcoming, with well equipped kitchen, and good heating. It caters well for very young children, with a small play area outside, nice picnic table/area and BBQ available if required. Internet availability is a bit sporadic, only to be expected in such a rural area. There are games and videos available to keep you entertained if the weather is poor. The cottage is very well placed for visiting many different activities and the pass for the local sports centrewappreciated, although we didn't use it. We had a lovely week here, but felt that some TLC was necessary to improve the's over 200 years old, and at the end of the holiday season looks a bit tired. That said, you will have a great holiday here.

Great location and views. It’s a wonderful place to stay to get away and re-charge your batteries but also so close to amenities.

Could do with stair gate for family with a toddler, that would be the only negative. The cottage itself is beautiful, very comfortable and the owners were very attentive, offering an immediate rreplacment to the faulty carbon monoxide alarm.
