Lovely comfortable luxury cottage, certainly one of the best we've ever stayed in. Very clean. Quiet location with beautiful views. Lots of great surprising extras (for example, Tupperware for picnics, towels for visiting dog etc). Very generous welcome pack. Great spot for visits to Hastings and Battle with beach and woodland walks.

A beautiful and very complete cottage. Nice to stay to explore East Sussex, no matter what season.

This is a really beautiful property. As it was a special occasion we spent a little more than normal on our holiday cottage this year and we definitely weren't disappointed. Its so clean and well presented, everything you need is here. The welcome pack when we arrived was brilliant. Also plenty of easy parking. The owners have really tried to think of everything. The village is half a mile walk along the road but there's footpath all the way. There are also other little footpaths all round for a longer walk. The local pub is great, very friendly, nice real ale and good food. The village geese are very entertaining. There's a little shop and post office for basic food. There's absolutely loads to see and do around the area, we need to come back. The view is so lovely and peaceful from the decking area we just chilled out. There's a barbeque and a table and chairs to make the most of this. If you love the sun then the east stable gets the sun a bit longer but we just moved our chairs onto the lawn in front. We would certainly recommend the property and hope to come back ourselves soon.

This is a fantastic place! The fixtures and fittings are top quality and the verandas give you great views across the fields. The welcome pack was the best we have ever received staying at cottages over the years. Perfect for people with limited mobility and a great area at the front for the kids to play safely. We rented both properties for the 8 of us which was perfect as we could meet up but also had our own space. Highly recommended.

Delightful two bedroom cottage in the quiet village of Sedlescombe just 10 minutes drive from Battle. The cottage has a lovely veranda where you can watch the sun rise whilst enjoying breakfast. Lovely views and fairly peaceful. Nice walks on your doorstep or drive to Battle Great Woods. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has all the mod cons you might want. The only problem we had was with the double bed which felt more like a water bed the way it bounced! But I guess some people prefer that kind if mattress. Overall a very nice place to stay. I would recommend Battle Abbey, Rye and Camber Sands as places to visit. The local pub was great too!

Just all good , one minor point should have a sign on the fence where to turn in especially if dark .
