Nice cottage although very dark due to position and well located for walking to beach, but right on main access road to beach so road a bit busy with people peering through windows the whole time . It had a for sale sign when we stayed which may have something to do with that though. We had the feeling that owners not keen to update furniture etc Sofa and chair in sitting room were truly uncomfortable!

This is a lovely cosy cottage with good central heating, a boiler room good for drying wet clothes, good shower and a very comfy double bed. It is on the whole well equipped with lots of useful extras eg umbrellas, knapsacks, washing-up liquid, basket full of local info. Its also spacious, especially for two people. Llangrannog has two great pubs with friendly service and good food. The service station on the main road has an excellent supermarket. The walk on the headland just behind the cottage is spectacular. Unfortunately the sitting room wasn't too comfortable; the sofa sagged in the middle and the seat cushions on both the sofa and easy chair were very flat. The only other chair was a wooden one. We brought down spare blankets from the bedrooms to bolster the seating and that helped. But overall its a good cottage in a great location and we would be happy to return.

Castle Rock was a cottage of character, homely but with all the essentials you needed. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water. The central heating worked well so in early May it was lovely to come back to a warm house. We needed to shop at the supermarkets in Cardigan and Aberystwyth as the village shop by the beach was not well stocked with food but had more holiday items. There was a portable radio but I could only get Radio 1 on it, but the TV was working alright.
