Castle Dairy is quiet & relaxing. Very comfortable furnishings-excellent kitchen hob & equipment. A splash back over the sink would be nice in a vibrant colour.. Bit worried about splashing water around such a smart kitchen area. The Meldrum Hotel, Ceres has amazing food & lovely staff.

Excellent property in a fantastic location. Pub very friendly and let my two dogs in. Cottage had everything. Two televisions (one in bedroom), a good DVD library. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were very welcome also. My wife and I plus my two dogs would definitely return if going back to that part of Scotland.

We had a lovely quiet break over new year, this cottage and its location were just perfect. A modern and well thought out property, particularly the kitchen, everything I needed to cook from scratch was there. We arrived late in the evening and it was so lovely to have tea coffee and milk waiting for us. The only suggestions I would make are curtains to close over the doors and blankets or throws on the sofa. The cottage was cold at times. We would definitely come back.

Ideal base for a five holiday. People in Ceres all exceptionally helpful and friendly.

It's a good central location for the coastline & other attractions. Cottage was well equipped & in good condition. On the down side, the settee & bed were very uncomfortable, on the cleanliness side the bathmat was mouldy and should of been replaced some time ago. The blinds were dusty/dirty and on the more trivial side, the teapot for instance was badly stained & for us unusable. Although dogs are welcome it wasn't really that convenient to exercise the dog as this was found to be prohibited which we understand, due to the nature of the garden however, due to the restriction you really couldn't let your dog out just in case of doggy accidents. I would also mention that there are plenty of places to take your dog for a walk in Ceres itself. Overall we enjoyed our stay but we didn't feel this cottage merited a gold award.

The cottage was very nice. The cottage was nice situated but the beds were very hard. Not comfortable. The kitchen equipment was not complete. The pans could not be used on the induction stove ! We also missed wooden spoons for the kitchen. The fan in the bathroom took a half hour to finally stop. Very irritating.
