In over 20 years of staying in cottages in the uk. this cottage probably has the best view of them all. Plenty to see and do in the area for all ages.

Castle street is in an excellent location near the centre of Criccieth, just 3 doors from the Castle and close to the Fish and Chip Shop and Cadwaladers Ice Cream; and the view from the rear patio is wonderful. We came again for a second year at the same time in June as last year, hoping that the weather would be better this time. We were hoping to sit outside and enjoy the lovely views BUT unfortunately the weather was even worse this year ! But we did have one good day when we could sit on the beach.

This is a cosy cottage with stunning views over the bay from the terrace in the back garden. The sandy beach is at the bottom of the street, and there are several places to eat within walking distance, including a very good fish and chip shop just opposite, and Cadwallader's ice-cream shop and cafe a few doors away. It is also a good base for walking in Snowdonia, and catching the steam trains from Porth Madog.
