We had a wonderful week in castaways with beaches on the doorstep and shops close by and plenty of place of interest to check out on a dull day. Which were few during our stay. We would happily stay again and possibly longer.

Fantastic property in a great location. We were a group of six, ages ranging from 3 to 70+; we all loved Castaways. Our two dogs also enjoyed the house and the area. Plenty of room inside and out for all activities. This was the warmest house we've ever stayed in - really comfortable. Location was superb - Baginbun beach nearby was the favourite. We visited Dunmore East, New Ross (Dunbrody Famine ship), Kilmore Quay, Waterford (Cathedral & Bishops Place), Duncannon beach, Hook lighthouse and Wexford. All within a reasonable driving time. So much to see and do in this area - beautiful scenery and lots of historic places to investigate. Highly recommended for holiday. Thanks to Kevin and his family for looking after all our needs (& even returning a book which we left behind us). Hope to return.

Another great fortnight in this lovely location that just cannot be beaten. Remote, peaceful and scenic but everything you need in the village. Great for touring the area. Great for big groups or disabled as the downstairs is very accessible. We had a small issue with the tv but the owner sorted this out tge next day, always good when the owner lives nearby. A gate at the front and a better tv downstairs and it would be perfect but thats being picky.
