Pretty villages and scenic Solva Harbour punctuate the area where this cottage lies, and the coastal path invites bracing walks.

Nestled on a peaceful no-through road in the idyllic village of Treffynnon and just 4 miles away from the tranquil harbour village of Solva, this charming, adjoining holiday home has been presented to the highest standard making it perfect for couples or families looking to explore beautiful Pembrokeshire. Conveniently located close to the Pembrokeshire’s iconic coastal path, the area is home to golden beaches, crystal waters and scenic countryside providing the ideal destination in which to relax and unwind whatever time of year. The beaches of Newgale and Whitsands are excellent for surf and water sports activities, as is Abereiddy’s glistening Blue Lagoon and Porthgain Harbour, a picturesque coastal village with fantastic cliff top walks and highly acclaimed restaurants with freshly caught fish always on the menu! The cottage itself has been tastefully presented throughout with a large open-plan living/dining area featuring exposed stone walls, arrow-slit windows and a traditional wood-burning stove which has been added for those cosy nights in. The contemporary, spacious kitchen boasts a breakfast bar and stylish range oven for home cooking, whilst the French doors from the dining area opens out onto the enclosed patio area which is perfect for al fresco dining on a sunny day. For an adventure day out, visit the historic city of St David’s and discover its magnificent 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishops Palace, or take a sea trip safari around the off-shore island of Ramsey cruising close to grey seals, rare sea birds and the occasional dolphin. A visit to Pembrokeshire would not be complete without a trip to its majestic sites of the west including Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier castles, or a trip to the award-wining leisure attractions of Oakwood, Folly Farm and Anna’s Welsh Zoo located in the south of the county near the popular tourist resort of Tenby. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Lovely part of Wales, very nice holiday accommodation within 5 minutes drive of pubs, although a bit longer to the shops...

Excellent... The Log Fire was one of the best features. It was also nice to to have the Garden enclosed for the dogs.

We had a fabulous Christmas stay in the cottage in a beautiful part of the Pembroke Coastline. The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it felt like home from home . There were 6 adults and a cocker spaniel which it catered for with plenty of room. Furnishings were lovely as was the log burner. We had such a lovely time and didn't want to leave. The only problems was the recycling - no bags/bins to put out and may be a couple more cooking dishes for larger familys. Saying that, that is all we could find that wasn't perfect. Would recommend to anyone this beautiful cottage to go and stay in to get away from it all and stay with friends and or family. Hope we will be lucky enough to return one day.
