Lovely cottage, with a friendly welcome from the owner. Take basics because local shops limited but the bakery only open on a Friday and Saturday morning is amazing. Privacy limated as cottage next door have to walk past window but otherwise very quiet and peaceful.

Stayed for a weekend with my husband and NO kids! Beautiful village location, close to major towns and lovely countryside. Property was nice and warm, very cosy and nice walks. Lady that owns it was really nice. Only downside - take your own towels, they were provided but weren't very big! Would stay there again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. A cosy compact cottage in a lovely little village. The owners were very friendly. Only one comment (not a complaint), the parking area for the cottages was originally by the owners' house but the cottages now have their own entrance & parking area but it is all grass. This was fine most of our stay as the weather was dry, but the last few days were wet & the parking area was getting churned up & becoming muddy, not good for loading up the car or for wearing decent shoes on days out. There is a concrete path immediately in front of the cottages but not right to the parking area. The owners appear to be making improvements so hopefully this might include an all weather parking area & more paths. Don't be put off by this......we had a lovely stay & would go again.

Lovely courtyard setting in a peaceful village. The cottage was cosy and comfortable. Plenty of parking space but not hard standing. Popular pub and restaurant in village called The White Hart and it is recommended that tables be booked for meals, especially the Sunday Carvery. There are walks starting from the cemetery which is about 50 yards from cottage. As there are two cottages adjacent to each other, I would try and book them both to share with other members of the family if I came again.

Cottage very good for our needs. As we said in cottage sheet a coffee table in living area would be god and a non slip mat for inside shower cabinet.

The cottages is in a nice quiet location, but if you haven't got a car transport from the village would be difficult as transport by bus has been cut.
